The Nowadays are an alternative Sydney based band with music spanning jangle pop, indie rock, bossa nova and neo-soul. Influenced by artists such as Alvvays, The Marías and Dominic Fike, their music consists of jazzy guitar tones, funky bass lines, upbeat drum beats and sassy pop hooks. Composed of four inner west teenagers - Alonso Manalac, Ethan Swissa, Harry Awad and Vevie Brook - this group have been honing their distinctly DIY sound in backyards, bedrooms, and off-the-wall music venues for the past two years. With a passion for writing and performing their original music, they are now in the process of finishing their debut album.
