6th Position Presents - The Nutcracker in July!

A ballet full of magic, mystery and Christmas spirit; whisk away those winter blues with this premier Canberra event. 

This event includes a weekend of ballet performances of The Nutcracker In July for families and lovers of the ballet and theatre alike. 

The wealth of experience from choreographers is extensive. We are lucky to have, as part of the team, Sir Martin James, former principal dancer at the English National Ballet, Royal Danish Ballet, Deutsche Oper Berlin and Royal New Zealand Ballet, and a Ballet Master at the Royal Danish Ballet. Through this work he received a knighthood from Queen Margrethe II of Denmark!

Matinee shows have been created with children in mind, these shows will see a 30 minute interval and activities for children to do.

Evening show is with adults in mind - children are still welcome to attend! Although this will have a 15 minute interval and no activities.

Seat selection is provided, however we may make minor adjustments to ensure all tickets are accessible for customers. Please try to avoid leaving a single seat between groups. 

Row A is accessible seating for people with mobility issues or assistance animals and their friends and family. Please note there are nearby green spaces across the road of the college grounds near Woden Skate Park for assistance animal relief.
