The Nuts and Bolts of Heathen Magic III: The Soul/s of the Witch

What is the soul or souls, and more to the point, what can we do with it/them magically?

These are the questions we’ll be tackling in the final installation of The Nuts and Bolts of Heathen Magic part of the Elves, Witches and Gods series of classes. The question of “soul” has long been a complicated matter for modern Heathens. We’ve gone from complex schemata like the nine-part soul matrix at one end of the belief spectrum to Heathen non-dualism at the other, with most practitioners landing somewhere between. The subject of soul/s is a source of confusion for many Heathens, magical practitioners included. A thing to worry about later v. an integral part of magic and mysticism.

In this class, we’re taking a look at the soul/s from the practitioner's perspective, the roles they play in different kinds of magic, and ways to become more intentional in your work. If you’ve ever wondered what part/s of you fare forth in trance, what it is you sense from plants and trees, and why charms spat out of fury work with a quickness, this is the class for you. 

As always, we’ll begin with material from the book Elves, Witches and Gods then expand on those perspectives before moving into the practical elements of the class. This class will include experiential activities, practices you can take and incorporate into your own magic for guidance, healing, and greater connection with your souls.

Live attendance isn’t necessary, and nor do you need to purchase a copy of Elves, Witches and Gods either for this class to make sense. All ticket holders receive links to class recordings after the class.
