- Recognise how to keep food at its optimum freshness for longer.
- Know what ‘Best-Before’ & 'Use by' dates mean in relation to expiration and spoiling.
- See examples of fridge and pantry food storage layouts from real people.
- See some examples of storage solutions which can be made, bought or upcycled at low cost.
Join our free, interactive workshop with co-founder of Good for the Hood, Jo Taranto. Jo has worked with ABC's War on Waste and Fight for Planet A: Our Climate Challenge and has seen communities all over Australia taking action to make cleaner, kinder and more sustainable choices.
The workshop is interactive and will ask for your participation for the best outcomes, so we would love to see your face, hear your voice or at the very least, see what you type in the comments.
This event is an initiative of City of Blacktown Council who are proudly working with the community to manage and reduce food waste.
