Join us Saturday, 19th September for a vibrant evening of food, culture, and connection! Enjoy a delicious Island-style and Ghanaian dinner prepared by the Regenerative Vanua Learning Exchange Participants. Arrive at 3pm for a special cooking lesson hosted by our exchange participants, or arrive at 4pm for a guided farm tour of The Paddock led by Rodrigo, and then enjoy a traditional kava ceremony, live music, and an incredible dinner. A night of flavour, stories, and community.

The Regenerative Pacific Learning Exchange is a growing collaboration between Regenerative Vanua and the Regenerative Stewardship Collective.

Rooted in relationships across the Pacific but now expanding across the globe, the exchange program brings together people working in areas such as regenerative agritourism, local food systems, and Vanua-based enterprises. Through shared learning and cultural exchange, participants support one another in creating Regenerative Action Plans that strengthen their local economies while staying grounded in the values of care, reciprocity, and connection to place.

Working within each Vanua’s inherited stewardship, custodianship and guardianship practices, Regenerative Vanua is a not-for-profit which aims to restore pride in Indigenous Knowledge Systems, specifically by promoting and facilitating regenerative agritourism, regenerative gastronomy, and regenerative food systems.

Resisting all formal conceptions of what an office or headquarters might look like, the Regenerative Vanua Collective is housed at Numba 3, Port Vila, and includes the headquarters of the Pacific Administration for Regenerative Vanua and the Global Agritourism Network, as well as being host, home and stockist to a number of locally owned businesses supporting regenerative living, such as local food restaurant Kai Vanua, noble variety kava bar Kava Vanua, and traditional medicine retailer The Farmacy. The Collective also hosts programs and events such as local gastronomy cooking demonstrations, screenings of educational films focussing on regenerative living, and research seminars/symposiums.

The Regenerative Vanua Collective traverses and connects disciplinary, institutional, and cultural boundaries and acts as a threshold between wisdom from the past that we wish to embody, this complicated but promising present moment, and the future we are creating together. It is a space which encourages those who enter it – whether they be staff, guests, consumers, visitors, researchers, or politicians – to be community-oriented, and globally aware. To de-centre, redistribute, collectivise, and decolonise.
