The Parley at Flying Colours
Event description
FINDING COMMON GROUND
BOLD CONVERSATION . WINE . FOOD
We’re Bringing The Parley to the Pub!
Get ready for a night of bold, respectful conversations with The Parley, a public debate series by the Museum of Sticks & Stones, sparking bold, respectful conversations on complex topics. Engaging, educational, and always entertaining. After official events at the Powerhouse, Thomas Dixon Centre, and more, the Parley lands at the pub for a new kind of night out.
Flying Colours is all about good times—tasty beers, fine wines, seasonal cocktails, and great food. But this is no ordinary night. The Parley is taking over upstairs for an evening of complex questions and queries in the name of finding common ground. Vegemite or Marmite? Should we Brisbane hosting the Olympics? Did Raygun deserve all the hate? Do we still get to have a ‘fair go’?
Bring your thinking caps.
