The Parliament

The Parliament is a weekly gathering for Hebrew-speaking Israelis aged 60+ in Melbourne, created as a place to meet, connect, talk, learn and simply enjoy spending time together.

Every Tuesday, we come together at HaMatnas for coffee, conversation and a changing program of talks, workshops, creative activities and special guests.

The Parliament was created in response to a real need in our community: a regular place for older Hebrew-speaking Israelis to meet, build connections and feel part of an active community. Since our first gathering, the group has continued to grow, bringing together familiar faces and new ones each week.

Annual Membership

Annual membership gives you free entry to all weekly Parliament meetings throughout the year, plus 15% off all other Shelanu events.

It is the easiest way to be part of The Parliament throughout the year, while also enjoying more of what is happening at Shelanu.
