The People's Echo - Community Song Circle
Event description
Join The People's Echo for our seasonal community song circle!
Song circle will be held in a backyard in NE Seattle in the Olympic Hills neighborhood (near Lake City Way). Register on Humanitix for the address.
In a song circle, songs are taught call-and-echo style and are learned in the moment, sometimes with harmony, sometimes without. At our song circles, we welcome all sorts of singers and embrace imperfection—we step outside of societal singing norms, inviting folks to step into discomfort within a supportive singing space.
Our Community Song Circles are spaces for YOU to teach & share the songs that are nourishing you in this moment. Whether you are sharing for the first time, are a seasoned song guide, or simply want to sing along, we welcome all voices! Bring songs to teach and share with the group, or simply to show up and sing along!
$20-30 suggested donation.

No one turned away for lack of funds.
We are a volunteer-run organization, and we collect donations at our events so we can harness the beauty and inspiration of our Community Singing events to support organizations working towards liberation.
How these funds are used: We will donate 50% of the funds we collect to a different organization for every Song Circle we host. The other 50% of funds we collect are set aside to pay for spaces and compensate future Guest Songleaders.
This month, our donations are TBD.
