The Plastic Country Film Screening: Hang 10 Distillery

Join Hang 10 Film Club for a community screening of The Plastic Country, a powerful new Australian documentary from ocean advocate and filmmaker Kal Glanznig.

A former water polo athlete turned ocean advocate, Kal grew up surfing the beaches of Cronulla. As emerging research into the health impacts of plastic caught his attention, he set out to understand what it means that Australia is now one of the world's largest producers of plastic waste per person. His journey takes him from remote coastlines to wildlife hospitals and Parliament House, uncovering how plastic pollution is infiltrating our ecosystems, our politics, and our own bodies.

The Plastic Country is both a warning and a rallying cry, revealing the solutions already underway and showing how each of us can help turn the tide on plastic for good.
