OPEN MIC POETRY - EDWIN MORGAN SPECIAL
Join us for evening of open mic poetry and a celebration of one of Scotland's most beloved poets, and Glasgow's first poet laureate, Edwin Morgan.
To celebrate the birthday of one of Glasgows most beloved Poets Edwin Morgan the poetry experiment invites readers to read from the heart. Poems inspired by the man, the legend. Or perhaps read your favourite poem by him or you could even choose to read based on a theme he wrote on!
Whichever you chose all are welcome to join!
The event is an inclusive, safe space for everyone to express themselves and share their work. Featuring special guests and collaborations with Scottish arts organisations, The Poetry Experiment is the new place for poets and writers! Bring yourself, bring your pals and enjoy a cosy night of performances on the last Wednesday of each month.
This is a pay-what-you-can event with a tiered pricing structure (PWYC), with half of the proceeds going towards future events.
Sadly the venue is not fully accessible as toilets are located downstairs. Please come along if you can!
