The Power of Activism: Movie Night
Event description
"The Power of Activism" is not just a documentary—it’s a heartbeat. It pulses with the stories of those who stood up, spoke out, and sparked change. It reminds us that activism is not a title—it’s a choice, a moment, a ripple. The documentary will last one hour.
Guest Panelists: After the documentary, our esteemed guest panelists will discuss inspiring topics about local advocacy and how the public can join some of these activities. The panel will be confirmed shortly and will include:
An Aboriginal Elder: A voice rooted in Country, reminding us that resistance is ancient and sacred.
A Climate Change Specialist: A compass of science and soul, pointing to what’s still possible.
Environment Victoria: A living movement, echoing the film’s call to protect what we love.
A Community Engagement Leader: A reminder that activism begins at home, in shared causes.
