The Power of Dream Interpretation
Event description
Dear sister you are invited to come along to this very special Red Tent circle and bring your journal or dream recordings for us to explore this wonderful world together!
Dreams are like a letter from "home."
They are indicators sent to ‘wake us up.’
From a deep place in the psyche that holds a picture of yourself, your life, your deeper state of the moment, that you may not be able to see, unless you tell someone- A sacred witness.
When we speak our dreams our ego-self takes a back seat.
In this way dreams can save us. From blundering into situations, or walls. They can save us from failing to sense or to see something important.
Dreams tell a story that is not completely obvious to us in darkness, but can become crystal clear in day time when shared.
There is innate in every human being a desire to hear stories that matter, and dreams tell stories to warn us, to inform us and to enlighten us.
- You may be a person who is very sensitive to your dreams and always remembers them in great detail.
- You may be a person who picks up fragments of dreams from time to time
- Or you may be a person who thinks that they never remember their dreams at all.
Regardless of whether you remember them or not, the fact is that we all dream 5-7 dreams a night.
That is 35-49 dreams a week!!
So what are dreams anyway?
Dreams are mirror images of what is really going on in your life.
Where do they come from?
They come from something in the psyche that some people call the dream maker. No one can actually pin down the place in the brain where dreams originate.
Dreams give us information about our reality that is not available to our conscious mind.
I LOVE HEARING OTHER PEOPLE'S DREAMS and I love to share mine.
I am a vivid dreamer and remember many many dreams from as young as 5 years old.
I have studied dream analysis for many years and am able to frequently interpret the symbolism in dreams in an accurate way that provides deep insight for the dreamer.
I invite you to start writing down or voice recording your dreams now in preparation for this circle.

Red Tent Aotearoa has the aim to connect, collaborate, and create a community of strong and educated women in a supportive & nurturing environment.
We establish community networks and support between women by hosting local gatherings, and events in what we call 'Red Tents.'

It’s our hope for everyone who enters each Red Tent to experience a sense of belonging, sisterhood, and strength that stays with them from then on.

FAQ:
What is the Red Tent and what do you do there?
The Red Tent movement is worldwide and stemmed from the book The Red Tent written by Anita Diamant.
Red Tents are spaces created by women, for women to come each month and share their stories, relax, feel nurtured, seen, and heard.
There is nothing required of you and the main goal is for you to relax, recharge and reset.
Each month at Red Tent Aotearoa is different, we invite a different woman to share her story, experience and interest with us so that we all can learn and become more confident. Some of our themes in the past have been; The Power of Pleasure, The Power of Identity, The Power of Grief, The Power of Menstrual Cycle Awareness, The Power of the Spoken Word, The Power of Positive Touch, and The Power of Humility.
Our belief is that 'Power-with' instead of 'Power-over' will change the world.
Who is the host and why does she do this?
We have many Red Tent Aotearoa trained facilitators across the country.
Each Red Tent is hosted by someone different.
Jill Natalia is the founder of Red Tent Aotearoa and Red Tent Australia.

Jill is a community-focused change-maker with a devotion to non-profit organisations and a passion for non-violent communication.
She has dedicated the last 12 years of her life to starting, growing, and sharing Red Tent Australia and now Red Tent Aotearoa. Organisations that helps start and support the birthing of Red Tent circles all over the country.
