Spencer Shaw
Spencer Shaw is a self-taught ecologist and entrepreneur who is passionate about horticultural uses of native flora and restoration ecology – in the ecosystems of Southeast Queensland, in particular Jinibara Country and specialising in rainforests such as Mary Cairncross. Partner at Brush Turkey Enterprises, whose portfolio includes Contract Natural Area Management; Wholesale Native Nursery; Forest Heart eco-Nursery - Native Nursery; ecological consultancy and educational Services, 1998 to Present.
Learn more about the critically endangered, endangered, vulnerable and near threatened flora (QLD Nature Conservation Act 1992) of the Reserve as Spencer provides an enlightening presentation on the form, ecosystem function, distribution, and threats of these precious species:
