The Prologue Gallery
Arts, Culture, and Immersive Dining
Prologue presents The Gallery, an immersive culinary art exhibition where chefs and artists interpret a shared idea through food, visual art, architecture, and music.
For its second exhibition, Prologue joins artist Jason A. Toth inside his gallery at 78th Street Studios for Reflections, an exploration of the space between perception and introspection. Through visual art and cuisine, the exhibition considers reflection in both senses: as light returning from a surface, and as the act of turning inward to revisit our choices, examine our motivations, and reconsider the person looking back.

Our Collaborators

Jason Toth
Jason A. Toth is a Cleveland-based contemporary visual artist whose work explores perception, transformation, and the ways light can alter how we experience an image or space. Working across photography, digital painting, sculpture, light, and immersive installation, he creates pieces that reward shifts in perspective and invite viewers to look beyond the surface.

Chef Logan Neisel
Logan Neisel, aka Chef Lone, is a Cleveland-based chef, entrepreneur, and founder of North Coast Culinary Group. Through Prologue Dinner Series, he uses food as a medium for exploring art, culture, place, and identity, translating abstract ideas into immersive, narrative-driven dining experiences. His work draws on Northeast Ohio ingredients and stories alongside Japanese and Italian influences, with an emphasis on craftsmanship, collaboration, and visual presentation.
About The Gallery
The Gallery is Prologue’s recurring series of culinary art exhibitions built around a simple premise: cuisine can participate in an artistic conversation alongside painting, sculpture, architecture, music, design, and other creative disciplines.
Each exhibition begins with a shared idea. Artists working in different mediums are invited to interpret that idea through their own practices, while Prologue develops a parallel culinary interpretation. No discipline is intended to illustrate another. Instead, each becomes an independent response to the same source material.
Guests encounter those interpretations together—moving between artwork, environment, and food while considering how a single idea can change as it passes through different hands, materials, and perspectives.
Every edition of The Gallery introduces a new theme, new collaborators, and a new setting, creating an exhibition that exists only for that particular moment.
Gallery Theme
Reflections begins with a simple physical phenomenon: light strikes a surface and returns changed by what it encounters.
A polished surface may return an image clearly. Texture can fracture it. Color can absorb certain wavelengths while sending others back. What we perceive is shaped not only by the light itself, but by the object reflecting it and the position from which we choose to look.
The same is true when we reflect upon ourselves.
Memory, experience, ambition, insecurity, and circumstance all influence the image we construct of who we are and why we act. Looking backward can reveal patterns we failed to recognize while living through them; looking inward can force us to question whether the person we have become still reflects the person we intended to be.
Through light, visual art, and cuisine, Reflections explores that tension between surface and self—between what is projected outward, what is perceived by others, and what becomes visible only when we choose to look again.
