The Pyramid - Basjia's 30th edition
Event description
The 2nd edition of The Pyramid is here! And this one is a special one.
In honour of my 30th year on earth i wanted to celebrate with a special Soul Train/Studio 54 themed night at The Pyramid.
Disco, Soul, House, Funk and more are the genres of the night and we are going to celebrate the night in full theme, come dressed up inspired by the glamour and glitzz of 70s and 80s fashion & style, there will even be a soul train moment included to show off your fabulous fit!
Held this time at The Chippo Hotel Underground, come watch and celebrate our beautiful and talented line-up and shower them in love and TIPS!
Named after the Frank Ocean song 'Pyramids' this night is dedicated to QTBIPOC dancers, royalty, deities, ethereal beings and everything in between. Here at the Pyramid we offer a sexy space for queer people and bipoc people to strip, tease and dance whilst being showered with tipping dollars, love and appreciation. Here in 'so called Australia' these places may not always exist so this is what we are hoping to cultivate this year at The Pyramid.
Tipping $$ will be sold at the door, and are a must if you wish to attend and watch and are available to re-purchase throughout the evening to make sure you continue to make it rain on our dancers. Private Shows will also be offered $50 per show with your fav dancer.
There will be phenomenal DJ's and bar, the venue is unfortunately not wheelchair accessible but we hope our next Mardi Gras edition will offer this.
Tickets are Free for Mob please just ask for discount code, and discounted for any S/w attending (please ask for code).
The Pyramid would also like to acknowledge that this event will be taking place on unceeded Gadigal Land, we pay our respects to ancestors past and present and remember that it always was, always will be, ABORIGINAL LAND.
We would also like to pay our respects to all Sex Workers as strip and pole have been created and sensationalised by the Black sex workers before us and they deserve their flowers always. We also pay respects to all S/W's for the liberation work they continuously do.
Do not attend if you don't know the words 'BOUNDARIES' or 'CONSENT', we will not tolerate any unsafe behaviour.
Lineup to be announced soon!!
