Event description

The Queen & I:

Failed opera singer Princess Feng Yee (Greg Leong) had ambitions to become the "Queen" of Musical Theatre & Cabaret. This has led her to seek out Tasmania's reigning and handsomest operatic baritone, Samuel Dundas, a real life 6'2" barihunk.
Sam is at the peak of his powers premiering roles in new Australian operas (Scroog in A Christmas Carol by Graeme Koehne and the title role in Galileo by Richard Mills).

Can someone with such super baritonic credentials help salvage what is left of Feng Yee's wrecked vocals? And so the show begins, Sam and Feng Yee have devised an entertainment and gathered friends pianists Allison Cornish & Therese Wahl and percussionist Bruce Innocent to make music. The sometimes hilarious and wildly unpredictable but delightful menu of songs will put a grin on your face as you leave the theatre!
