The Quiet Chaos Club 12th December (in person/online)
Description
Quiet Chaos Club is a gentle, sensory‑friendly hangout for queer, neurodivergent and disabled folks 🫶
This is a low‑pressure space to exist alongside others. Bring a favourite “side quest”, crochet 🧶, journaling ✍️, doodling, tactile stims, or a small personal project, and settle into soft lighting, soothing textures, and plenty of freedom to move, rest, or simply be 🌱
Each session blends quiet, parallel work time with a conversational guest speaker sharing their creative practice, lived experience, community narratives, or niche hobbies and hyperfixations.
Talking is always optional. Comfort is the priority 💛
This April session is hybrid ✨
In person at the D*LIST community hub space (a queer‑affirming, disabled‑led community venue),
Online via livestream, with a moderated chat so remote attendees can participate without needing to speak 💬
Online and in‑person participants are treated as equally present 🤝
✨ Date: Saturday 12th Dec 2026
✨ Format: Hybrid (in person + online)
What this event is / isn’t
Quiet Chaos Club is 🌿
A gentle, sensory‑aware space for queer, neurodivergent and disabled people
A place for parallel play, quiet co‑presence, and low‑pressure connection
An event where comfort, autonomy, and consent come first 🫂
A hybrid gathering where online and in‑person participants are equally valued
A space where you can stim, rest, move, disengage, or simply observe
Quiet Chaos Club isn’t 🚫
A networking event
A workshop with required participation or outcomes
A support group or therapy session
A performance space or audience‑driven event
A place where you’re expected to socialise, explain yourself, or be “on”
You are welcome exactly as you are, for however long you want to be here 💛
New here? 👋
If this is your first Quiet Chaos Club, you’re very welcome. There’s nothing you need to prepare, bring, or perform.
You don’t have to talk, introduce yourself, or know anyone. You’re free to join in your own way, quietly working, listening 🎧, stimming, resting, coming and going as needed.
Many people come specifically because traditional social spaces feel like too much.
If that’s you, you’re in the right place 🌱

Mask‑wearing is strongly encouraged while indoors 😷
Masks are welcome and respected at all times
Please attend online if you’re feeling unwell. Remote participation is always valid and valued 💻
