The Quintessence Quintet at the Mazza Castle
Description
Please join us at the Mazza Castle for an evening with the Quintessence Quintet, a classical woodwind quintet with flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon and French horn.
The Quintessence Quintet was formed in 2024 by bassoonist Leslie McNeil-Cape, who invited fellow members of San Mateo’s New Millennium Chamber Orchestra, and also her sister Pamela McNeil-Ravenelle, who in addition to performing on flute and piccolo, teaches and conducts in the Bay Area. Quintessence members also play in the Redwood Symphony, Coastside Community Orchestra, and S. F. Civic Symphony.
We welcome these artists who play throughout the Bay Area, enriching our cultural landscape. The program will feature music from Vivaldi to Paul Hindemith, from the baroque to the 20th century.
