The Reading Teacher: Evening Review
Description
Teachers and librarians are invited to join The Literature Centre and Paper Bird for our first session of The Reading Teacher: Evening Review.
We’ve developed the Evening Review to bring together like-minded educators and librarians who are avid readers and passionate about children's literature, particularly discovering new books.
You’ll:
Hear about the best new books and how you can use these in your classroom. We’ll share teaching notes from publishers and highlight curriculum links, themes, activity ideas, recommended age groups and local authors available for school visits. We’ll share books for both primary and secondary audiences.
Take home our free catalogue which collects key information from the session.
Enjoy wine and cheese and opportunities to connect with like-minded teachers and librarians and share ideas for your classrooms.
Hear from our special guest author, Meg Caddy, about their latest award-winning release, A Flash in the Dust.
Receive a Professional Learning Certificate provided by The Literature Centre.
Enjoy a 10% discount on education purchases made in the bookshop (excludes Malinki Stationery).
The Reading Teacher: Evening Review will be held twice per year. Bring a friend for discounted tickets.
