This session examines the opportunities and challenges facing the industry as it seeks to create systems capable of managing textile materials more sustainably. The UK Deposit Return System: Six months To Launch. Key Focus This session explores how the UK DRS system is shaping up, lessons to be learnt from other schemes, what to expect, and challenges to overcome. We will consider what success looks like, how likely is the system deliver on the promise, unintended consequences and how the infrastructure is developing. The Role of Data in the Circular Economy - 2 years on. Across all sectors, data is a recognised key pillar in achieving a circular economy. This session follows on 2 years from the original RECOUP Summit data session. So what has changed, what has progressed, and what hasn't? We will examine the importance of data collection in advancing the circular economy, sustainability, waste management, and plastics systems, highlight the opportunities, initiatives and gaps in securing accurate and robust data to deliver the understanding and improvements needed.
