Event description

The Reshaping

// Blood & Magma //

Eco-Somatic Dance

~ Friday April 25th

~ 7:00 PM

~ St. Peters Anglican Church, QT

~ Limited Spaces Available

New shapes are being formed

Deep red currents offer wisdom

Flowing through vessels and volcanic conduits

To generate, create, transform

A new beginning

A slow emergence

A sacred remembrance

You will be warmly welcomed as you arrive with a nourishing herbal tea to support this reshaping, deeply replenish your body, and offer an ally for blood circulation, heart wisdom, and grounded vitality.

ECO -SOMATIC DANCE:

A guided exploration of eco-somatic inquiry and dance, and an invitation into an attuned, inclusive, transformational space bridging ecology with sōma (body). This practice allows a sense of presence and curiosity to the personal embodiment of your cells, body systems and developmental patterns through your authentic movement weaving back into the greater body of earth and cosmos.

Arrive 5- 10 minutes early to settle into the space.

The altar will also be a co-creation so if there is anything from home or nature you would like to bring to offer to the altar you can place it there before the dance and collect it after.

No "experience" required, come as you are. You were born from vibration. You already are the dance and the dancer, being danced.

The specifically curated soundscape and guidance is intended to support deeper embodiment of your freedom of expression.

"We shape our self

to fit this world

and by the world

are shaped again.

The visible

and the invisible

working together

in common cause,

to produce

the miraculous.

I am thinking of the way

the intangible air

passed at speed

round a shaped wing

easily

holds our weight.

So may we, in this life

trust

to those elements

we have yet to see

or imagine,

and look for the true

shape of our own self,

by forming it well

to the great

intangibles about us.”

― David Whyte, The House of Belonging

May our collective rhythmic vibration carve the pathway to liberation and together weave ourselves into a new story.

With great reverence and love,
