About The Work
Centring ourselves in poetic realms of imagination, like stepping into your favourite children's tale. Join us in an evening of celebration, bathing in enchanted sounds of song and story. A musical offering, to guide one back to the love within.
Beetle Miyela will be debuting her recent collection of songs from the heart. “The Return,” is a 60 minute musical journey, leading viewers on a hypnotic adventure through deep forests, singing with the spirits of the trees and crossing vast oceans. Harnessing the potency of sound, Beetle uses her breath, voice and guitar to creatively acknowledge and express the pain and joy of travelling this windy road we call existence.
With accompanied movements from dancers, Piper Mae and Liam Linane. This is truly a transformative experience of visual and aural sensations. Helping one to relax, re-centre and re-connect. “The Return” is a feeling of coming home. Miyela’s offering of innocence and imagination asks the question… “What if you were able to step inside your favourite children's tale?”
