We’ll go with the flow from the narrow, cooler northern valley and Syrah, Viognier and Roussanne grown on its steep granite banks, meandering down to the sprawling, sunnier south and its uncannily refreshing Côtes-du-Rhône slurpers in both colours. This is where Grenache reigns, and our southern tour will culminate in spicy, rich, full-bodied white and red blends, including prodigious Châteaneuf-du-Pape.
