Rhythm of Time — New Year’s Eve Self-Reset Experience
Description
Rhythm of Time — New Year’s Eve Self-Reset Experience
Close out 2026 by deciding what no longer needs to come with you — and step into 2027 with beliefs, patterns and choices that better support where you want to go.
What if the turning of the year could be more than simply watching the clock?
Rhythm of Time is an immersive New Year’s Eve self-reset experience combining bilateral rhythm, movement, reflection, laughter, connection, psychological insight and meaningful self-exploration.
Most of us know what it is like to genuinely intend to do something differently, only to find ourselves slipping back into familiar patterns.
We make resolutions. We set goals. We decide that this time things will be different.
But sometimes the deeper beliefs, patterns and behavioural drivers underneath our intentions are still pulling in another direction.
Across the evening, Rhythm of Time gives you the opportunity to explore some of those patterns, understand them a little differently, and decide what you want to carry forward, adapt, update or leave behind as 2027 begins.
You’ll become a member of the New Year’s Eve Time Committee and enter the story of the Keeper of Time and ALIX.
Through Storyscape, bilateral rhythm, movement, hands-on activities and reflection, you’ll explore why good intentions can sometimes lose momentum — and what may happen when the deeper drivers behind your behaviour begin working more closely with the direction you consciously want to take.
This is not simply a night of entertainment, and it is not a promise that your entire life will change before midnight.
It is a carefully designed opportunity to understand yourself differently, explore patterns that may no longer support you, and begin work that may continue well beyond the evening.
The change still belongs to you
At THW, we believe meaningful change ultimately comes from the person themselves.
Nobody else can do your inner work for you.
What we can do is create an environment, structure and experience that gives you the opportunity to explore, understand, experiment and make your own choices about what you want to change.
For some people, that may mean leaving with one useful insight. For others, the experience may open the door to something much more significant.
There is no required outcome.
You decide what you explore, what you keep, what you change and what the experience means for you.
An introduction to THW Bilateral Drumming
Rhythm of Time introduces participants to THW Bilateral Drumming, one of the ways THW uses bilateral rhythm within its transformational work.
Bilateral simply means working rhythmically across both sides of the body.
Rather than relying on conventional drums or musical performance, the rhythm activities are designed around alternating movement, repetition and whole-body participation.
In Rhythm of Time, this may involve striking Swiss balls, balance trainers and other percussion surfaces in patterns that engage both sides of the body while you move through the wider experience.
The purpose is not to turn you into a drummer.
The rhythm is used as part of the process of noticing, exploring and working with internal patterns in a more embodied way, alongside reflection, Storyscape and the other activities throughout the evening.
No musical or drumming experience is required.
You can participate seated or standing, and there is no expectation that you perform or “get the rhythm right”.
Your experience, your choices
Throughout the evening, you choose how deeply you engage with each activity and what you want to reflect on.
Some parts of the experience are shared, playful and interactive. Others give you space to think privately, notice what comes up for you and decide what you want to take from it.
There is no single “right” way to experience Rhythm of Time.

So what is the reset?
This is not about wiping out the past or becoming a completely different person by midnight.
It is about becoming more curious about why you do what you do.
It is about noticing the difference between the direction you consciously want to travel and the beliefs, patterns and behavioural drivers that may sometimes pull you somewhere else.
It is about understanding something a little differently, experiencing another possibility, deciding what still supports you, choosing what may need to change, and stepping into 2027 with something genuinely useful to carry forward.
Who created the experience?
Rhythm of Time has been developed by Thera H-Art Workshops (THW) as part of our experiential approach to self-exploration, psychological insight and transformational learning.
The experience is facilitated by THW co-founders Diana and Tania, with Tania bringing her professional background as a trauma therapist alongside THW’s use of Storyscape, psychological understanding, creativity, rhythm and experiential learning.
Our aim is not to tell you who you should become or to change you for you.
It is to create meaningful opportunities for you to better understand yourself, do your own work and decide what you want to take forward.
