This session is aimed at anyone who volunteers, or works, for groups or charities.

Overview:

This practical course equips staff, volunteers, and trustees with essential skills for compliance and digital security. Learn how to protect personal data and defend against cyber threats in your VCSE organisation.

Session Outcomes:

• Describe the principles of data

• Develop a data protection policy

• Respond effectively to data breaches

• Recognise common cyber threat and how to implement basic cyber security practices

• Assess and manage risks

**Members failure to attend without prior cancellation will result in you being charged the standard member rate of £30**. To avoid being charged you must provide a minimum of two working days' notice so that your place can be offered to another organisation.*
