The Right Start: Menopause Awareness

With 51% of the population likely to be impacted through symptoms of this perfectly natural process; employers have legal obligations to make reasonable adjustments to support women who are affected with perimenopause and menopause. This session is designed to assist in this obligation and to signpost to further advice and support.

Learning Outcomes

By the end of the session, attendees will be able to:

1. Define the terms menopause and perimenopause

2. List some of the symptoms of perimenopause

3. Describe the impact of fluctuating hormones

4. Discuss options for supporting someone experiencing symptoms in a variety of settings
   

**Members failure to attend without prior cancellation will result in you being charged the standard half day member rate of £30**. To avoid being charged you must provide a minimum of two working days' notice so that your place can be offered to another organisation.**
