Event description

Join the fantastic mission of The Rising Sun Charitable Trust - we're all about making a difference with style!

Our goal is to provide a helping hand to Australian veterans and their families, every dollar we raise goes completely into the trust. At times they face devastating events by having a loved one killed in combat, or in training exercises, abroad or at home. The impacts of PTSD-related illnesses sadly are overwhelming amongst many veteran communities, which not only affects the mental status of the individual, it includes what happens in their intimate family circles, the burden of being in financial distress can spiral out of control, we are all now trying to cope with everyday costs, which continue to rise due to our economy. Our job is eliminating this distress to help them move forward and find higher ground.

So, here's the fun part: our 2025 fundraiser is going to be even more epic than last year's success!  We rocked it with $42,000, but this time, we're setting our sights on a whopping $60,000. And guess what? You can be a part of this incredible journey.

Here's the lowdown on what's in store; Performances from Crash the party, The Ringwood Pipes & drums band and of course the Rising Sons & Daughters and when you're ready to quench your thirst, step into an authentic old west saloon for a cool beverage at genuine 1990's prices and satisfy your taste buds with some delicious bites from the food trucks scattered around.

Kids under 18 are free so bring the family or make it a date occasion instead with that special person. Get ready for some wild fun - The kids will be entertained all day with unlimited Laser tag, face painting & the bean bag grenade station is back again with Rebel gift prizes given away to anyone who can lob the bean bags into allocated bunkers!

Get your hands on exciting auctions and raffles. It's a day packed with excitement and various military guests, including the Geelong military Re-enactment group, live bugle player for those with us at stand too.

So, don't miss out on this incredible event, and let's make 2025 the year we reach our goal together!
