FAQs

• What is included in my ticket?

  Your ticket includes a three-course meal, a three-hour drinks package featuring Duval-Leroy French Champagne, access to the Limoncello Spritz Bar, live entertainment by Baseline, Fashions in the Field and all the excitement of Melbourne Cup Race Day.

• What time does the event start?

  Doors open at 11.30am on Tuesday, 3 November. We recommend arriving promptly so you have time to settle in before the racing and entertainment begin.

• Where is the event being held?

  The event will be held at Sunshine Beach Surf Club in the Ocean View Room, overlooking beautiful Sunshine Beach.

• Is seating allocated?

  Yes. This is a seated event and tables will be allocated before the day. To sit with friends, please purchase your tickets in one booking or include the same group or table name when booking.

• Can I book a full table?

  Yes. Groups are encouraged to book together. Please purchase all tickets under the same booking where possible to help us seat your party together. Tables will be tables of 10.

• What is the dress code?

  The dress code is Riviera-inspired racewear. Think coastal glamour, bold colour, elegant florals, statement hats and fabulous fascinators.

• Will there be Fashions in the Field?

  Yes. Guests are encouraged to dress up and take part in Fashions in the Field, with prizes awarded on the day. Further details will be announced during the event.

• What drinks are included?

  The three-hour drinks package includes a selected range of beer, wine, sparkling, soft drinks and premium Duval-Leroy French Champagne. Guests will also be able to enjoy the dedicated Limoncello Spritz Bar during the event.

• Are non-alcoholic drinks available?

  Yes. A selection of soft drinks and non-alcoholic Cocktail and quality Sparkling wine options will be available throughout the drinks package.

• Can dietary requirements be accommodated?

  Yes. Please provide all dietary requirements when booking. We will do our best to accommodate notified allergies and dietary needs, but requests received after the booking deadline may not be able to be accommodated.

• How do I access the members’ ticket price?

  The members’ price is available to current Sunshine Beach Surf Club members from Reception or by calling the Club on 5447 5491. You may be asked to provide your membership number or show your current membership card.

• Can I purchase additional drinks?

  Additional drinks may be purchased outside the included package or after the package concludes, subject to normal bar service and responsible service of alcohol requirements.

• What happens if I can no longer attend?

  Tickets may be transferred to another guest. We have a no Refunds policy and will be managed in accordance with the event’s stated refund policy and Humanitix terms.

• Is there transport available?

  Guests are encouraged to plan their transport in advance and avoid driving after consuming alcohol. Please contact the club for more Information about the club’s courtesy bus, seats on the buses are subject to availability. You can book in advance through our website My Courtesy Bus
