The role of the GP in caring for palliative care patients in the community

Banksia Palliative Care Service (BPCS) is pleased to invite you to participate in a series of webinars specifically designed to demonstrate the benefits of partnerships between GPs and Community Palliative Care Services in achieving the best outcomes for patients, carers, and service providers.
The online sessions, are written and presented by practicing community Palliative Care Medical Specialists, Nurses and Social Workers, run over 4 consecutive weeks.
Week 1: Wednesday 6 November, 7 - 8pm - When the community palliative care and the role of the GP Meet
Week 2: Wednesday 13 November, 7 - 8pm - The role of the GP in prescribing opioids for palliative care patients
Week 3: Thursday 21 November, 7 - 8pm - Conducting essential conversations with palliative patients and their carers
Week 4: Wednesday 27 November, 7 - 8pm - Delirium and the use of sedatives in community palliative care
