THE ROPES - Speed | Feel | Flow - with Sai Jaiden Lillith | Gadigal Land
Description
Sai Jaiden Lillith launches our brand new Shibari Intensive series, THE ROPES.
Our intention is to present non-traditional, non-linear exploration pathways. There are plenty of great institutions running traditional Shibari progressions, and we wanted to contribute more alternative, soft skill and intersectional practices to the pool of Shibari knowledge.
Join Sai Lillith, one of Australia’s prominent Shibari practitioners in a day intensive that will hone your skills and expand your possibilities.
Rope Drills
Sai Lillith is one of the fastest riggers around, and they will lead you through a series of simple exercises and techniques designed to safely increase your flow, accuracy, tying speed and confidence.
The Song of Rope
Open up the possibilities of your connection with rope, as Sai Lillith takes you through a workshop designed to hone your connectivity and rope vocabulary and teach pragmatic ways to express the ineffable. You’ll go through a number of simple patterns and forms to add subtlety and expressiveness to your tying, and deepen the experience for you and your rope partner. Make your ropes sing!
The Dance of Rope
Tying can easily be a very static activity, and while stillness can be welcome, stagnation is not! Inject dynamism and movement into your rope practice to increase your connection and excitement of your rope experiences.
This intensive is suitable for lifestyle and professional BDSM players, and you can attend a single module or the entire intensive.
Please keep reading for requirements and assumed knowledge!
VENUE / ACCESSIBILITY - There is a flight of stairs leading up to the venue, and unfortunately no lifts. Please get in touch if you need more details!

FAQs
- Can I attend just one of the workshops?
Yes you can! While this intensive is framed around a full journey, you may choose to experience them seperately.
- Do I need a partner?
Rope Drills can be attended solo, however partners are required for the other workshops for optimum learning. You are, of course free to attend solo if you wish to witness.
You will need to purchase a separate ticket for your partner!
- What's with your sliding scale pricing?
We have added a pay-what-you-can/want ticket - to help support the community and those who may not be able to afford the full price ticket, this is an option where you can pay what you can from a minimum limit. There is no upper limit on this ticket, so if you feel like subsidising those who purchase lower priced tickets, or giving a little extra to the facilitator to support us, this is your option!
We believe in both accessibility for the community, as well as making sure our facilitators are paid appropriately for their erotic / intellectual labours, so this is our solution to hold space for both with a minimum of fuss!
Enjoy this social experiment, and we'd love your feedback.
