Welcome to Tasmania’s ONLY obstacle course mud run!

This obstacle course is designed to challenge and inspire participants of all abilities, featuring 45+ diverse obstacles including rope climbs, balance beams, A-frames, and muddy army crawls. New obstacles are added each year, and different waves are designed for different ages & abilities.

After crossing the finish line, freshen up in our onsite 🚿 showers and indulge in delicious 🍔🍹 food and drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, at our lodge.

There are three types of waves:

👦 Juniors, and

🏆 Competitive Wave

🎉 About the Fun Run Waves:

• ✅ For all fitness levels

• 👯‍♂️ Great for teams OR solo runners

• 🧢 Prizes for best dressed

• 🚫 No obstacles are compulsory (but we encourage you to have a crack at all of them!)

• 🐢🏃‍♀️ Walk it, jog it, or run it - no time pressure, no training required

• ⏱️ Takes 45 minutes to 2.5 hours, depending on how fast you go

• 🧗 45+ obstacles

• 🔞 Must be aged 13+ (no max age limit)

With no time pressure, the Fun Run waves are all about camaraderie, having fun, and experiencing the thrill of overcoming new challenges.

We have multiple Fun Run waves kicking off throughout the day. You’ll choose your allocated wave time when purchasing your ticket. If you’re going with a group, all you need to do is book the same wave time as your mates, and you’ll be sent off together.

👦 About the Junior Waves:

• 👧 For ages 8 and up

• 🧭 A shortened version of the adults course

• 👨‍👧 Kids under 13 must run with an accompanying adult (1 adult with up to 4 juniors)

• 🎟️ Adults running in the Junior wave should also purchase a Junior ticket (unless they already have a ticket to another wave)

• 🔁 Adults with tickets for other waves are allowed to run the Junior wave again for free

• 🧸 Age-appropriate obstacles designed to minimise risks

• 👷‍♂️ Certified safety staff present throughout the course

• ⏱️ Timed race with 45+ obstacles

• 🛣️ Tackle the full 6.5km course — fastest across the line wins!

• 🥇 Prizes, medals, trophies, and ultimate bragging rights up for grabs

• 🔞 Open to anyone aged 13+

• ✅ Must complete all obstacles to be eligible for placement (or complete the penalty burpees!)

Think you’ve got what it takes? This wave is for those who want to test their mettle! Whether you’re gunning for the podium or chasing your personal best, anyone aged 13+ is welcome to have a crack at earning a spot on the Rugged Podium and taking home a shiny Rugged Race medal. 🏅
