The Secret Kirtan Club - Part 2
Description
A Moment to Unplug
At The Secret Kirtan Club, we invite you to step away from the noise and return to presence.
When you arrive, you’ll be asked to place your phone in a soft, safe bag at the door. This small act is a sacred ritual — a way of saying yes to stillness, connection, and the simplicity of being here, now.
For two hours, we let the digital world fade away so that we can open our hearts to the sound of kirtan and the beauty of meditative chanting.
If you don’t feel ready to part with your phone, that’s okay — perhaps this experience is for another time. For those who are ready, we promise your phone will be safely kept and waiting for you when you leave.
Come as you are.
Leave even more energised.
The Secret Kirtan Club is a spontaneous, invite-only kirtan event for kindred spirits — the “kirtan heads” who live for the rhythm of the harmonium, the beat of the mṛidanga , and the joy of voices rising as one. Our second event will be as cozy as the first , raw, and full of heart. Expect no stage, no spotlight — just authentic chanting, sweet association, and the high vibes that come from singing together in good company.
✨ Why come?
Because waiting months for the next big festival feels too long.
Because nothing nourishes the soul quite like kirtan.
Because in the silence, the holy name resounds.
📍 Location: Between Albert Park and Middle Park (revealed on the day of the event).
🎶 Energy: Low key. High vibes.
💫 Cost: Free (but bookings essential — space is limited).
🍲 Prasadam: Naturally a most delicious meal will be served.
Come ready to sing, clap, dance, and dive into the Holy Names of the Maha-mantra. This is your chance to recharge and reconnect. P.S. This is a no digital event, meaning - no phones, no digital cameras, and no filming or photographs are allowed at The Secret Kirtan Club. You will be asked to leave your phone and digital devices in your car or in our bag at the door.
