The Seven of Ska are a dynamic original band from Brisbane. With their signature-horn section and infectious rhythms, they create an energetic, joyous sound that gets audiences on their feet and dancing. As a seven piece ensemble, their mission is clear: to craft unforgettable tunes built on ska and reggae grooves, spread an appreciation of melody, fill dance floors and keep the energy high. Drawing inspiration from the legendary Jamaican sounds of The Skatalites, Bob Marley & The Wailers, and beyond, The Seven of Ska blends traditional ska with rock, soul, and jazz, giving their music a vibrant and fresh ska fusion sound.

Since their formation, they have been a fixture in South East Queensland's music scene, regularly performing at venues and festivals, captivating audiences with their lively and uplifting performances. Having shared the stage with renowned bands such as The Allniters, The Melbourne Ska Orchestra and Bradamon Band - The Seven of Ska are firmly establishing themselves as a formidable live act. Their high energy performances were a standout at the Woodford Folk Festival 2024/2025. Since then, they've been quietly recording and working up new material, all of which they'll be playing at what many of their fans are calling their Comeback Show!
