Description

The Shadows of Trust

Noongar Booja Premiere | The Backlot Perth | Monday 11 November | Doors Open 6:30pm

Make your way to THE BACKLOT on Noongar Boodja for a special premiere screening of THE SHADOWS OF TRUST, the gripping new Indigenous‑led psychological thriller from Whadjuk/Bibbulman filmmaker Thibul Nettle.

Supported by The Backlot Perth, The Shadows of Trust follows Phoebe and Alex Clarke as they move into an isolated country home, where unsettling events begin to fracture their relationship and expose long‑buried secrets. Written, directed, and starring Thibul Nettle, the film pushes beyond the expectations of Indigenous cinema.

Featuring excellent performances from Sarah Jeavons, Georgia Williams, Trung Le, and Nettle himself, the film delivers a tense, emotionally charged story.
