The Shandies: Official First Born Album Release Show with Special Guest Madeleine Kelson

Join The Shandies for the official release celebration of First Born, their fourth full-length album! This special evening brings together some wonderful musicians to celebrate the stories and songs of The Shandies' most personal album yet. Featuring their signature intertwining guitars and plenty of rich vocal harmony, First Born looks back at family, old wounds, and the stories we inherit, while asking what is ours to carry forward.

Opening the evening is Madeleine Kelson, a Nashville-based touring singer-songwriter who's making the trip to Springfield especially for the occasion!

Springfield legend and multi-instrumentalist Dave Wilson (The HigLeeWils, Undergrass Boys) will be joining The Shandies on mandolin, fiddle, and bass, bringing the songs from First Born to life onstage just as he helped bring them to life in the studio!

And there's another reason to celebrate! Just five days after this show, The Shandies will hit the road for Florida to perform at the 30A Songwriters Festival. Being selected for this nationally recognized festival is a huge milestone, and this evening will also serve as their official send-off!

Ticket sales will help fund the trip to Florida, so come celebrate First Born, enjoy an evening of music with some very special guests, and help send The Shandies off to 30A! 💛

General Admission. Seated Show. Tickets are $20 plus fees in advance (through January 7) and $25 plus fees on the day of the show (January 8), including at the door.
