The Shed Community Walk

Join a Community Walk inside the final and largest new building at Inveresk campus, The Shed.Â
Discover more about the design features and what the new facilities will enable for education in Launceston in health and science. The building will host 160 staff and 1500 students from 2025 in Agricultural Sciences, Health Sciences, Nursing, Nutrition, Allied Health (Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathology), Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences.Â
New spaces will support community health education programs for children and older adults, professional development workshops, sports science testing and wellbeing initiatives. It also includes fully accessible changing place facilities available for public use, parenting room and a café. Â
In keeping with the rest of the new buildings, The Shed has large central atrium for activities and community events, and spaces are open and welcoming to the community and to students across all disciplines, including the surrounding outdoor landscaped areas.
Walks are hosted by Pro Vice-Chancellor (Launceston) Professor Natalie Brown. Meeting at the main Cimitiere St entrance.
