The Sketchy Collective 2026

Join me for an exploration of the wonderful world of creating in a sketchbook. 

Once a month…4th Wednesday of the month from 6pm-8pm, I will be plonking myself down at Florence Jones with a glass or two of wine with my sketchbook and a variety of materials to help you to create and connect with like-minded creatives. You will practice a fabulous way of unwinding from the day and maybe even develop a new mindful and mental health routine. 

A little about me…I’m a visual arts teacher, a painter, a surface pattern designer and an illustrator. I absolutely love being creative and to create art. I have kept a sketchbook for years and find it a really restorative practice. My sketchbooks are used for lots of different things.…from sketching and painting ideas, drawing about my day and even for creating work that I use to create my patterns. 

$20 per person will get you a supportive sketching community and guidance in your sketchbooking journey. 

All sketchbooking materials will be provided (no sketchbook however as this can be a very personal choice. I can provide some ideas of where you can purchase some my favourites for you or bring your own).
