For one special afternoon, The Songwriters Café travels to the beautiful surrounds of Willow Whispers in Bridgetown.
Join acclaimed Western Australian songwriters Toby Beard, Carus Thompson, Nathan Gaunt and Helen Shanahan for an intimate in the round concert, where songs are shared alongside the stories that inspired them. Taking turns in the round, each artist will perform original music and offer audiences a rare glimpse into the creative process behind the songs.
Toby Beard is one of Australia’s most celebrated independent touring artists. Renowned for her powerhouse vocals and captivating live performances, Toby has spent more than two decades performing across Australia and Europe and recently opened for Santana in Germany.
Carus Thompson is an acclaimed Australian songwriter and storyteller whose heartfelt songs, compelling live performances and extensive touring career have earned him a devoted following both at home and abroad.
Nathan Gaunt is a highly respected Western Australian singer-songwriter and guitarist, celebrated for his soulful voice, accomplished musicianship and deeply honest songwriting.
Helen Shanahan is an award-winning Perth folk singer-songwriter whose introspective songs have taken her around Australia and internationally. She is also the creator, curator and host of The Songwriters Café.
Now in its fifth year, The Songwriters Café has become a much-loved fixture in Perth’s live music scene, celebrated for its warmth, authenticity and unforgettable performances.
This special Bridgetown edition promises an afternoon of heartfelt storytelling, laughter and exceptional songwriting, set amongst the beautiful surrounds of Willow Whispers.
