A gentle morning of movement, breath, and deep rest, created to help you pause, release what you no longer need to carry, and make space for what's next
Join Malia and Christelle in the beauty of Golden Gate Park for a heart-centered yoga and sound healing experience as we move toward the Fall Equinox, a natural moment of transition and reflection.
We'll begin with an all-levels yoga practice, connecting movement and breath to open the body and gently ground in the present moment.
From there, we’ll settle into a deeply restorative sound bath and meditation.
No yoga or meditation experience is necessary. All are welcome.
Thank you for creating the time to pause, breathe, and gather in community.
We look forward to sharing this space with you.
What to Expect:
Please arrive by 10:15 AM, so you have time to settle in and create your own comfortable yoga and meditation cocoon before we begin.
What to bring:
Yoga mat
A blanket and/or a small pillow for the sound healing portion, if you'd like extra comfort.
Layers for changing weather- San Francisco weather can be wonderfully unpredictable! Bring layers for cool or foggy conditions, and sunscreen and sunglasses for sunny weather.
A journal or notebook and pen (for reflection and intention setting afterwards).
A little about the experience
This collaboration brings together yoga and sound healing as two complementary ways of coming home to the body.
Yoga invites movement, breath, and awareness.
Sound invites stillness, deep listening, and release.
Together, they create a gentle journey from movement into stillness, from doing into being.
And perhaps, a little more space to hear what your heart has been trying to tell you.

Meeting location: Look for us to the right of the restrooms in the Hellman Hollow meadow (when on John F Kennedy)
Parking: Street parking on 800 John F Kennedy Dr.
Restrooms: Restrooms are located in the middle of the Hellman Hollow meadow.

Malia Ford has been dedicated to her yoga practice since 2019, completing a 200-hour teacher training at Sangha Hot Yoga Studio in Pacifica, CA, in the spring of 2024. While she specializes in Vinyasa, she is also certified in the 26&2 practice. Her Vinyasa classes are fueled by her deep love for music and movement, creating a dynamic and engaging experience. For Malia, yoga is a space to ground, reset, and play. She strives to share her passion with her students, inspiring them to leave class feeling supported, grounded, resilient, and powerful. She believes in the transformative power of connecting breath and movement, incorporating this principle into every class to benefit life beyond the mat. A Pacifica native, Malia now resides in the Outer Sunset District of San Francisco. Off of the mat, you can find her exploring the beach with her dog, hiking, or traveling to discover new places.
