The Speaking Room - Bondi
Description
A public speaking practice club.
Whether you want to grow your visibility, get more speaking gigs, communicate your work more clearly or feel more confident in front of a room, this is a regular space to get up, speak and build the skills that only come from practice.
You might be a:
Founder or business owner
Consultant or coach
Creative or professional
New or experienced speaker
Human who simply wants more practice speaking in front of other humans
What will we practice?
Each session combines impromptu speaking, prepared talks and practical feedback, with plenty of time actually speaking.
We’ll work on four core areas:
Presence: Staying grounded, regulating your nervous system and being fully present when you speak.
Content: Shaping and structuring your ideas so they are clear, focused and easy to follow.
Connection: Using stories and emotion to make people care about what you are saying and remember it.
Delivery: Using your voice, body, pace and presence to bring your message to life.
This isn’t about becoming a ‘perfect’ speaker.
It’s a place to try things. Get it wrong. Try again. Find your voice. And become a better speaker by actually speaking.
We can’t wait to see you on stage or in the audience.
