Please Note: Venue will be open from 5.15pm allowing time for you to order a meal and have a drink before the entertainment commences at 7pm sharp.
About Furry Friends
While Bucketty’s is proudly dog-friendly, we kindly ask that you leave your furry friends at home for The Story Room nights. As this is a private event, the space can get quite full, and in respect to our storytellers and the intimate nature of the evening, we appreciate your understanding. Thanks so much for helping us create the best possible environment for everyone involved.

Asthaar Kool
Asthaar Kool is an award-winning entrepreneur, brand strategist, and the Founder and CEO of Koollab — a fast-growing branding agency helping businesses turn overlooked brands into growth engines. After losing her mum at 21, Asthaar moved to Australia with no connections and rebuilt her life from scratch. She went from selling raffle tickets on the street to leading a team known for bold thinking, stand-out brands, and helping businesses scale. Her story is one of clarity, resilience, and taking action when things feel uncertain. Asthaar shows that the voice we ignore is often the one that changes everything.

Amy Clarke
"Amy Clarke is the creative powerhouse behind Confetti Rebels, an unapologetically bold fashion label based on Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Known for her cheeky slogans and inclusive sizing, Amy designs statement tees and accessories that celebrate and empower women in all their messy, magical glory. As a mum with ADHD, she brings honesty, humour, and heart to everything she does - creating a brand that’s more about connection than just clothing.
Beyond the fashion, Amy is fiercely committed to making a difference. She runs Confetti Rebels as a one-woman show while raising a family, supporting women’s charities, and speaking openly about mental health and motherhood. Her annual Womens DV Pamper Hamper initiative for local shelters is just one of the many ways she uses her platform to uplift others. Through it all, Amy keeps it real, loud, and proudly rebellious."
Lisa Beresford
Lisa shared a story at The Story Room in May 2025, about her early days in the UK and the beginnings of her business journey. Her story was authentic and heartfelt, taking the audience on a wonderful journey through the twists and turns of her life. As a first-time storyteller, she was truly at home on the stage.
Lisa’s Journey: Embracing Life’s Endless Possibilities
Lisa is an entrepreneur, mother, friend, and spiritual healer who lives by the belief that it’s never too late to reinvent yourself.
She left home at 16 to work as a travel agent and soon set off on global adventures that deeply shaped her outlook on life. Time spent in the Middle East sparked unexpected inspiration—experiences that would later influence her in surprising ways.
Lisa has worn many hats over the years: launching creative ventures in busy markets, raising two children, and moving to Australia on a business visa in 2002 to start anew.
Later, she pivoted into the wellness space, becoming a Lomi Lomi massage therapist and running a thriving health clinic for seven years. A serious car accident eventually slowed her down—but not for long. She emerged with a deeper presence, wisdom, and a powerful connection to her inner voice.
Lisa’s story is one of resilience and reinvention. She reminds us all that life’s detours often lead us exactly where we need to be—and that new beginnings are always possible if we stay open and keep believing.
