  • A minimum upfront payment is required to secure your order. This includes a surcharge, a non-refundable cancellation fee, and a refundable deposit.
  • You’ll receive a notification before each payment attempt. You must ensure sufficient funds are available.

Event description

This event is open to all Unitec Students (held at Waitakere Campus)

Join us for the first official Tea Club meeting this Thursday 1 August! We'll be sharing a bit more about the club's plans over the semester - and how to get involved. While also exploring a theme of whakawhanaungatanga and how to connect with others on campus to make the most of your student experience. Join in to debrief about your studies in a supportive space, connect with others, and enjoy some pizza! Each week will have different themes and activities, join our newsletter and follow us on socials to get the latest updates (info below).

This week's facilitators will be Lee (NZCHW) and Alex (BSP).

ABOUT THE TEA CLUB:

The Tea Club is a new weekly peer support group to help students manage stress, balance school and life, and build a sense of community. Join us every Thursday to debrief, meet new people, and be part of a supportive and inclusive campus community. 

WHEN: Every Thursday (starting August 1st), 2 - 3.30pm

WHERE: Room 510-3037 (Level 3)

Hot drinks and kai will also be provided.

The Tea Club is a new collaborative project involving students from across Waitakere campus working together to create safe, supportive and inclusive spaces on campus. The club facilitators are comprised of 12 students representing Nursing, Social Practice, NZCHW, and Medical Imaging working together to foster a thriving student community. This project aims to spark new ideas and initiatives as it grows, inviting feedback and participation from all Waitakere students.
