The Teacher's Guide to Responsible AI
Description
The Teacher’s Guide to Responsible AI is a practical workshop for teachers who want a clear, evidence-informed approach to AI in education. The session is structured around SaferAI’s six pillars: protecting cognition, student wellbeing, independent decision-making, assessment integrity, teacher expertise and student privacy.
Participants will examine where AI and EdTech may create genuine risks for learning and development, how to respond to student use, how to protect the integrity of assessment, how to use AI without surrendering professional judgement, and how to safeguard student data. The emphasis throughout is on helping educators make careful, defensible decisions that protect the human foundations of education.
