The Truth Is Brave: An ONLINE writing workshop

The truth can be a tricky character. Memory can be unreliable. Subjectivity can be an obstacle. Perspective can change over time.
Can the truth be trusted at all?
In the first half of this generative and fun! workshop, we discuss the difficult nature of the truth. We will experiment with different ways to access the difficult truths that lurk within us - expect a lot of writing prompts!
In the second half, we turn our attention on how to engage with the truth with others (read: how to tell others difficult truths). We borrow philosophical concepts and fit them to our particular writing context. In particular, Michel Foucault's work on truth-telling will be of great interest to us all.
