Making new friends as an adult can be hard — so we’re bringing people together IRL.
The Ultimate Black Girl Social is a two-day Sydney experience created around genuine connection, new friendships, community and celebrating Black women.
Black women are at the heart of the weekend, but you don't have to be a Black woman to join us. Friends, partners and everyone who genuinely loves, supports and celebrates Black women is welcome.
Coming solo? Even better. The weekend has been intentionally designed to make it easier to meet people, start conversations and leave with new connections.
This is an 18+ event - However children are welcome to join the walk but note it is 6km

DAY 1 — BONDI TO BRONTE SOCIAL WALK
Saturday 21 November | 11AM–2PM
Meeting spot: Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach
Before Sunday's boat party, we're bringing everyone together for a relaxed coastal walk, good conversations and new connections.
We'll meet at Bondi Pavilion at 11AM before walking along Sydney's beautiful coastline towards Bronte Beach.
Once we arrive, we'll take a 30-minute break to relax, chat, grab a drink and get to know each other before heading back towards Bondi.
We'll make a few stops along the way to take photos, enjoy the views and capture some memories together.
This is your chance to meet other attendees before the main event, find people you click with and make some familiar faces before Sunday's boat party.
And yes — everyone who joins the walk will receive a little gift from us!

Friendship Walk — Bondi to Bronte 📍 Meeting point: Bondi Pavilion, Bondi Beach Join us for a relaxed coastal friendship walk! We’ll walk from Bondi towards Bronte Beach, taking in the beautiful coastline, stopping for photos and making time to connect with other attendees. We’ll take a 30-minute break at Bronte Beach to relax, chat and get to know each other before heading back towards Bondi. Come ready to walk, take photos and make new connections! Suggested schedule: * 11:00 AM — Meet at Bondi Pavilion * 11:15 AM — Begin the walk towards Bronte Beach * 12:00 PM — Arrive at Bronte Beach for a 30-minute break * 12:30 PM — Begin walking back towards Bondi, with photo stops * 2:00 PM — Finish Note: These intermediate times are estimates, so adjust them based on your preferred walking pace.

Sydney Harbour Friendship Boat Party 📍 Arrival: King Street Wharf 3, Sydney Get ready for our Sydney Harbour friendship boat party! Expect DJs, dancing, karaoke, games, connection activities and beautiful harbour views as we bring everyone together for an unforgettable afternoon. Please arrive by 11:15 AM to allow time for boarding. The boat is scheduled to return to King Street Wharf 3 at 4:00 PM. Come ready to connect, celebrate and make memories!

Day 2 — Official After-Party — Bungalow 8
📍 Location: Bungalow 8, King Street Wharf Keep the celebrations going at our official after-party! Join fellow attendees for more socialising, drinks and music after the boat party. Entry is for attendees who have purchased an after-party ticket. Please have your ticket ready for entry.

- Who can attend?
Black women are at the heart of this event, but everyone is welcome! All races and genders are welcome, including friends, partners and supporters who genuinely celebrate Black women. The event is LGBTQIA+ friendly.
- What age group is attending?
Attendees range from 21 to 51, with people in their 20s, 30s, 40s and 50s. The event is for adults aged 18 and over, so there's a mix of ages and life experiences.
- Can I bring my partner or friends?
Yes! Partners and friends are welcome. You can attend solo, with your partner or with a group of friends. Everyone attending must have the appropriate ticket.
- Can children attend?
The event is primarily for adults aged 18 and over. Children may join the Saturday friendship walk, but please remember that the walk is approximately 6km in total. Parents and guardians are responsible for supervising their children.
The Sunday boat party and after-party are 18+.
- What does my ticket include?
Your ticket includes the activities specified in the ticket option you purchase.
Both Events ticket: Saturday friendship walk and Sunday boat party.
Boat Only ticket: Sunday boat party only.
After-Party Add-On: Optional entry to the Bungalow 8 after-party.
- What should I bring to the walk?
We recommend bringing comfortable walking shoes, water, sunscreen, a hat and sunglasses. Please check the weather forecast and dress appropriately.
- Is food and drink included?
Food and drinks are available to purchase onboard. A cash bar will be available, so please budget accordingly.
- How do I get access to the group chats?
Ticket holders can join our private Instagram community using the invitation links provided after purchasing. There are separate chats for the main event, Saturday walk and interstate attendees.
Use the chats to introduce yourself, meet other solo attendees, find travel buddies and make plans before the weekend.
- Are people travelling from interstate?
Yes! Attendees are travelling from Sydney, regional NSW, Brisbane, the Gold Coast, Melbourne, regional Victoria, Canberra and beyond.
