‘THE UNIVERSE BENEATH OUR FEET’

Tom Keneally, the prolific Australian Author will narrate the series of mini documentaries to showcase what can be done to halt and reverse climate change.

The first documentary ‘A Soilution for Global warming Hemp’, will feature this versatile plant and the many uses it has for producing fireproof buildings that require virtually no additional heating or cooling whilst drawing down vast amounts of CO2 from the atmosphere.

The second volume ' beacons of hope’ is a compilation of interviews of leading lights who a steering spaceship earth away from the tipping points for climate change ahead.

I want to now visually document these eco warriors who for example are productively farming the dessert in Egypt or going to Bhutan who are now 100% organic and exporting renewable energy and much more. Or Colin Seis who is planting cereal crops directly into native pasture and getting increased yields, retaining more carbon and moisture in the ground and reducing the cost of expensive inputs like fertilisers, herbicides and less diesel as the soil has a wonderful crumb structure and does not need ploughing as the roots replace steel.

The 2nd volume weaves a narrative thread of such custodians of the land, just as the unifying capacity of soil microbes that weave together the fabric of life reintegrating the plant solar cycle , the carbon cycle, the water cycle and the nutrient cycle upon which not only our life depends but the very future of our blue planet suspended by gravitational waves on the edge of the milky way .

The third volume is ‘Cultivating a sense of Humus’, it is the HOW to regenerate the land.

It emphasises that the most restorative thing we can do is to grow humus.
