The University of the Future | Launch
Event description
For too long, short-sighted governments and private interests have dominated conversations about what higher education should look like in this country. It’s time to talk seriously about alternatives based on equity, democracy and the collective public good.
The University of the Future: Higher Education Built on Democracy and Equity is a discussion paper developed by the office of Senator Mehreen Faruqi over the past 12 months. It is a collection of bold ideas and questions about how higher education could be more democratic and accessible.
This launch event will bring together the brightest minds in the higher education sector to share what the ‘University of the Future’ means to them.Â
