The Vendor Mix Content Day Workshop is an afternoon built for wedding & event pros to create fresh content, learn a few new tricks, collaborate with other vendors, and have a whole lot of fun doing it.
We’re taking over the incredibly unique Homestead Park and turning it into our own content playground - complete with styled spaces, interactive content stations, fun side quests, and plenty of opportunities to get in front of (and behind!) the camera.
First - A Little Strategy 💡
We’ll kick things off with Lauren Grove of Lauren Grove Interactive, who’s coming in clutch with a refresh on the social media strategies that are working for wedding & event businesses right now, plus a quick tutorial of Instagram Edits.
Bring your questions! Lauren will answer a few before we turn everyone loose and then she's even sticking around throughout the day to brainstorm, troubleshoot, and help you make the most of what you're creating.
Then... It’s Time to Create. 🎬
You’ll rotate through a series of fully interactive content stations designed to give you different kinds of usable content for your business - from talking-head videos and client-focused education, to personality content, and plenty of B-roll while you're at it. And don't worry - we've got all the prompts and ideas ready for you to make it super easy to jump right in.
And because this is The Vendor Mix, we're making it FUN.
Between rotations, take on our Content Day Side Quests - because we decided regular networking wasn't enough! There's plenty of unique spaces around Homestead Park begging to end up on your camera roll.
Because good content requires good snacks - Enjoy light bites from Fat G’s BBQ and a sweet treat from Huck’s Creamery!
Come ready to collaborate. You'll be creating alongside other local wedding & event pros, which means plenty of opportunities to swap phones, play client, interview each other, get creative together, and make some new connections while you're at it.

What to Bring
A little prep will help you get so much more out of Content Day:
A fully charged phone & plenty of camera roll space
Portable charger - highly recommended!
Your laptop or tablet, if it makes sense for your work
Tripod, phone stand, microphone or other content gear you already use (helpful, but not a requirement)
Your work props! Bring along anything that helps tell the story of what you do - camera gear, planning binders, invitation suites, floral tools, styling kits, menus, notebooks, or whatever makes sense for your business.
A few ideas you've been meaning to film - we'll provide plenty of prompts, but come with your own wish list, too!
Think about what you'd naturally have around you while you're working with a client or doing your job - and bring it along to incorporate.
We'll provide the backdrops, setups, prompts, inspiration, and people to create with. You bring the pieces that make the content feel like you.
