Speaker 2 Alyson Richelle - DARVO

Founder, What They Don't Tell You™ | Trauma-Informed Educator | Survivor Advocate | Former Police Senior Sergeant

Alyson Richelle is a former NSW Police Senior Sergeant with approximately 15 years of policing experience, a trauma-informed educator, survivor advocate and founder of What They Don't Tell You™.

Drawing on both her professional background and lived experience of domestic and family violence, coercive control and systemic challenges, Alyson is passionate about bringing conversations into the open that too often remain behind closed doors.

Her work focuses on helping individuals recognise patterns of abuse, understand their rights, navigate complex systems and rebuild confidence, autonomy and safety.

Through education, advocacy and honest conversations, Alyson challenges misconceptions about abuse, particularly the psychological manipulation and controlling behaviours that can be difficult to identify or explain.

My message is simple: You cannot address what you do not recognise, and understanding is often the first step towards meaningful change.
