Experience this unique performance from acclaimed Queensland-based First Nations dance company that will change the way you see the world around you.

Led by acclaimed Queensland-based First Nations dance company, 'Karul Projects’ Thomas E.S. Kelly, five new short dance works by local First Nations artists will be embedded in the urban and natural landscape surrounding Bondi Pavilion in a promenade-style performance that will change the way you see the world around you.

Each installation, positioned along a path snaking from start to finish, serves as its own vibrant chapter, woven seamlessly into a singular storyline. Every iteration of the performance will incubate new works local to the area, so no presentation of The Walking Track will be the same as in its next location. Be guided by the pulse of performance traversing the artistic landscape.

The Walking Track is Karul Project's major performance work that is an incubator for First Nations artists to develop their own performance piece under the guidance of Karul Project's Artistic Director Thomas E.S. Kelly.

Suitable for all ages. Children under the age of 15 will require a parent or guardian to book a ticket to accompany them throughout the performance.

Please note, this is an outdoor performance which involves walking through the Bondi Beach precinct, with a return trip of approximately 1km. Please contact us if you have any questions or concerns. Please bring water, sunscreen, hats and wear shoes that are suitable for walking.

Refund policy

1. This ticket is sold by Waverley Council ABN: 12 502 583 608 through Bondi Pavilion on behalf of the organisation presenting the activity and is subject to any conditions for that activity and or venue. 2. Tickets are purchased under a no refund or exchange policy. In some instances, such as cancelled events refunds may be payable in line with the Live Performance Australia Ticketing Code of Practice. 3. The right of admission is reserved by management. Latecomers may not be admitted until an appropriate time which may not occur until the first intermission. 4. Recording of any means is strictly not permitted in performance spaces unless otherwise noted. 5. Mobile phones and other devices must be put onto silent for the duration of performances. 6. Prams, strollers and walkers cannot be kept inside the theatre. Alternate areas to park these items will be provided on a show to show basis. 7. We may photograph, record and/or broadcast any Event and you consent to the use of any image or recording taken of you, and anyone for whom you purchased tickets on behalf of, at Bondi Pavilion.
